It looks like two sticks, but it's one stick. Which is 1/2 cup I think.

I rarely use butter. Perhaps just on a nice slice of toast! Yum.

Yes. My grandma taught me how to make it. One day in the ER, we decided to have an apple pie cookoff.

The nursing supervisor, Dr. Bay and myself were the only ones to bring pies.

Don't you find cooking techniques change over time? I can't imagine using some of the ingredients that my older relatives used. Or perhaps that's just me. :-s
