Did that really happen?
My grandfather was a minister, and a carpenter..lol.. he built dozens of churches in California. Both my grandparents on my dad's side are still alive, they are in their 90's and have been married 70 years. I don't get to see them though, because they live in the mountains in New Mexico.

Yes, it really happened.
I still don't totally understand it.
He had told me the church was always open. A few days later, I felt compelled to go there and one of the church elders was singing/praying behind all the pews at the back of the church. When I walked in, he said "I was expecting you."
I asked him what was going on and I forget what he said except, "you're never alone with God."

Do you really think so?KC8t80 wrote:there will be peace when everyone stops drinking.
I guess it does a lot of damage, especially for young people, who sometimes drink way to much. Moderation is important, that's for sure. I haven't drank much for the last ten years. I rarely have a drink. Some people drink a bit of wine.
well when u look at the news at least half of the domestic, racial, or any kind of violence usually has alcohol as a contriubting factor (if not the main reason.) I am not saying we should have another prohibition but we should really watch how much we consume and what we are consuming. if these things are kept under control then it would help calm thingd down in the world.
