clear for everyday...............and it depends what i'm wearing if i'm dressed up for a big night out..............usually a mid rosy-brown pink......although i do have Rouge Noir.......i've just not been brave enough to wear it........
far too much.............probably too introspective for my own good.....i know far too much about psychology......sometimes ignorance is bliss..
But i'm relatively well adjusted despite it...........although i have a tendency to go in 'where angels fear to tread'........and for that i have my regrets...........but i've learned life is too short not to take big risks......
Venice...........i love the place.........it's especially beautiful around 4am when the sun is coming up....there's an early morning haze...and the boats etc are starting to bustle.........it makes me cry it's so lovely..
um..........that's hard.............but i can tell you about my Grandpa's Birthday card.......
I adored grandpa..............i lived with him when i was little and i always worshipped him, and on his 88th birthday i bought a Pavaroti CD (he was blind so he loved music) and a jumper (he spent 7 hours a day walking his dog...and he was blind!!) i was going to go round after school...........but i forgot to take the card with me to work.....well, grandpa's birthday was a week before xmas so when the kids made xmas cards i made him a huge birthday card, with glitter and shiny stuff.........
When i gave him the pressies he was delighted but when he got his home made card you'd have thought he'd won the lottery..........apparently no-one had ever actually made a card for him before....none of his kids had made one............and he was 88...........
he kept it up for about 8 months!!........
He died 2 weeks before Xmas 2004.........i thought my heart would break......
what's the biggest bargain you've ever had............
My brother is better at those. He's incredible. When he was a kid everyone said, "What's he gonna do? He's got 2 left hands". And he wasn't particularly good at academics.
Now he's been working at the same job for over 20 years and on the side he's a self-taught master wood carver, who now teaches others.
Also, he's got hundreds of books on art glass and knows just about everything there is to know.
We both enjoy prowling antique stores, but I just buy crap I like and he laughs at me. He has "the eye".
He was here at the end of last year for a few weeks and we went into a huge barnlike flea market. He is a kid in a candy store in those. I was wandering and I noticed him walking rapidly up to the desk with a piece of glass and I could tell he was very pleased with himself. He actually had it wrapped and took it out to the van (before we were done in the place, this is a really good sign...I heard the Mission impossible theme and everything.) So I followed him to the van and said, "What did YOU find, Mr?"
