The Beatles........................they rock!!!!!!..............

And here's a weird 'fact'............in Britain we are born knowing every single word to every single Beatles song...........it's genetic y'see.....we have 2 year olds singing 'I am the Walrus' in their pushchairs......but how do they know the words????..............it's a genetic mutation .......
(either that or something weird in the water :D )

and it's easily proven..........if you go into a shop playing the Beatles the whole place is singing................from babies to pensioners........it's a blast maaaaan!!!!!

Too bad for you it's not SCOTTISH!

Seriously, I'm having to Google now, because the first record I ever wanted was advertized on TV. It was a K-Tel record.

Oh my goodness, there's a WEBSITE! Kewl~!

http://www.ktelclassics.com/

I found the one I had! I should NOT admit this.

KTEL??????LOL!!! I had some of their records when I was a kid. Thanks for the link,Quirky! :D

It is ok to admit you had some K-tel records just as long as you don't tell anybody the names of the singers that are on them. Altho the album covers are kind of corny looking.lol I had one that was blue I think. I remember Jackie Blue by The Ozark Mountain Daredevils were on it.Image I need to look for it on there.hehehe

Seasons in the Sun...I LOVED that song!

I don't know if I'm dizzy with shame or giddy with delight.

AAAAARRRRGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!! NOW I CAN"T GET ROCKY OUT OF MY HEAD!!!!! The 70's had many many depressing songs matter of a fact Austin Roberts had 3 hits and 2 of them(including Rocky) were soooo depressing. David Geddes had 2 hits and they were both depressing(remember Run Joey Run?) But the worst song was "Timothy" By The Bouys. a song about 3 boys trapped in a cave and they get hungry so they eat their friend named Timothy Imagethen the guy sings"Timothy Timothy where on earth did you go? Timothy Timothy God why don't I know???"[/img]

I had "Seasons in the Sun" on a 45 and I used to play the b side called "Put the Bone In" all the time until one day my brother got fed up from hearing it so he took the needle on the record player and made a deep scratch in the record with it while I was playing it.
