He was looking for the same thing my father would look for..
Elvis always looked for his brother's gravesite.
My father would always look for his Father's gravesite.
We'd tramp through the cemetary and go to the old farm but
he never knew where his father was buried. We still don't know.

I love it when...
someone sings Elvis songs at Kareoke, no
matter how good or bad they are, the songs still live on.

I'm reading the book..
The Boy Who Would Be King, anyone else read this, it's kinda interesting.
I'd rather read something written by a a close relative or friend. I also
realize it is that person's view and not the whole picture. But you really don't see anything in the movies about when he was a kid and this book tells somewhat about Elvis's growing up years, I remember some kind of controversy on this book, but I can't remember what it was. It was written about 1990. The one thing it makes me realize that the stigma of
poverty, can affect a person's self esteem for a very long time.
Also that he lived in the world of geniuses, ostrasized whether by poverty or non-inclusion that gives them a drive to go on and just do their own thing whether accepted or not.

I love reading books about people...
I finished one on Celine Dion (I'm going to try and find a better book though, the last one I read, I didn't enjoy)
I just finished the Elvis book, I'm also working on one of Clay Aiken(not sure that's how to spell his name)it is written by him with help and I'm really enjoying. There's a few other people I want to read up on.
Elvis always had a fear I think of people forgetting him, no one has.
Peoples music will always live on, he himself even sang a song from the 1920's.
