What's new pussy cat? Meow! Tom Jones Rocks!

Just heard he's been knighted! Way to go! My mom would play his records over and over again. I still love to hear him boogie. Its kind of nostaligic, but can he still move! He's multigenerational, you got to give him a try.

Tom Jones came into town a couple of years back, my Mom, my sister and I went as a goof. He absolutely blew us away! This man can really sing, he actually gave me goosebumps at times. I gained a completely new respect for the man and consider myself a fan. Factoid: Did you know Jimmy Page (of Led Zeppelin) was his original guitarist?

He should have known. The Devil was under my bed.

I meant the Urban Legend is that he bought the house to conjer up the devil. He bought it because no one else wanted to buy it because it was Alister Crowley's house and he got a grand house on the cheap!

Led Zep was the soundtrack of my youth. Like them or not they were always in the background on someone's stereo.

Does anyone remember Tom Jones show in the 70's? He would come out onto a catwalk stage amongst all these screaming women and immediately whip off a scarf or tie and fling it into the audience? They would scramble like mad women to get a piece of it. He would gyrate in a way that made Elvis look PG and the women went mad! I remember, as a kid, coming home from school and my neighbor and the babysiiter would be transfixed in front of the TV. They wouldn't even turn their head when I entered the room...

I remember something about women throughing their err... their bloomers onto the stage when Tom Jones performed! It must have been wild time in the 70's; and even in the 80's as he has quite a following. I just happen to like his music. The rest I could do without.
