Cinderella Man...

Post by quirky »

Oh my goodness. I have been through an emotional roller coaster.
This is a GREAT movie! I'm not really a fan of boxing, but I found myself popping up and down on the sofa saying, "Git him! Hit his head! Git him!"
Wow. I think I need to pet the cat awhile.

Oh maaan...my cousin's GF's mom is still here and she had a sore throat. She was a film student, so I thought I'd rent a couple of videos.

The shots in this thing moved SO quickly you didn't know what the heck was going on. And he'd jump back 10 years, then forward 4 years, then back 8 years. Oy! Oliver Stone gives me a headache.

Too true about Angelina. I was like, "They have to age her or something."

And I don't know how many times we looked at each other quizzically across the living room and said, "What's going on? I'm lost."

I wish I'd read reviews of it. I went online to get a bit of background on Alexander before I started the movie. Maybe I should have looked on Rotten Tomatoes before I RENTED it.

Yesterday I rented "The Perfect Man".
I mean the movie. You can't really rent guys. *sigh*

It was very cute. And made me laugh quite a bit.

For later, I've got "The Life Auquatic."
