Tomorrow I run
to the scene of the crime.
Three hours in the car,
Gets me there right on time.

It's a long drive and boring
There's not much to see
But my doctor is adamant
He needs to see me.

So tomorrow, I rise early
Not sure what to say
When I get to his office
Except "Have a nice day."

I told him, "I'm concerned because I'm on all these antidepressants and I still do battle with depression," sometimes worse than other times.

He said, "You look good."

I said, "I shower and .... stuff."

Six hours in the car.

Now I'm having soup, a hot shower, and my BED!!

But you've gotta get support and counselling too...........you can't fight it on your own Jill the drugs won't work effectively without some psychological therapy.................are you getting some support??

awe geez..............can't they do any telephone counselling??.........or does your GP surgery have a community psychiatric nurse who can help??.............

y'know by now that i used to teach in an adolescent psychiatric unit, so i know a fair bit about the working of the NHS provision but it sounds so much harder in the US..............
