Where's Waldorf? Hot for teacher...

Post by wonderbunny »

I just read an article in USA Today that chronicals Mr. Carrey's multiple personalities and characters in most of his blockbuster movies. Having had a few hidden personalities of my own, I don't feel so disoriented. Now I can have fun with them. I'm my own Dr. Jeckyl and Ms Hyde!

lol.............yeah but i think he's joking about the 'multi-personality disorder'...........lol........ but i wouldn't like to comment on that.........

but he's one of lifes great observers i reckon............he'll look at people and things with a different eye............taking in the subtle differences that actually catch the imagination and define a person.......a mannerism, a tic........
I bet he can actually be quite absorbed and quiet out of doors sometimes........those will be his 'study times'...........lol........time to connect with strangers and observe ............
He'd probably make a great behavioural psychologist y'know.........lol..

I agree, in order to perfect each of his characters with separate expressions, vocals, personalities etc is a gift. I know when he said multiple personalities its a metaphor! I've used the same expression, usually when I off-the-cuff remark about my changing moods and opinions. (for lack of a better descripion) I'm have multiple personalities and I have to schedule a meeting with all of them just to make up my mind.

Speaking as Ramona: I think Jim panders to the medium common denominator and is a skilled comedian.

Speaking as Jill: I think a guy with a great heart and fine comedic instinct has made it in Hollywood, but I think he beats himself up to do more. While I look forward to more movies, what I really want is Jim to find what he's looking for.

I have three diferent personality's Jimenem, Binx, and JR. Jimenem is the witty/wise one, Binx is the wild and crazey one with an attitude, and JR is the artistic, sensible, sensitive one. It's really fun to have all three of them around at the same time. . . never a dull moment. Lucky each influences the other so there aren't too many arguments, normally it's just me (JR) arguing with Jimenem about stupid things, like who's the better dancer. But normally it's all just a big misunderstanding, and we remain good buddies.

 I hope Jimenem doesn't mind you using his sign in name. Is it true that you and Binx got in a fist fight before?

I don't mind, we're all one and the same. Plus Binx can be very persuasive.

Binx, while he's the one with the attitude, is actually the most timid. . . go figure. JR and I hardly ever have to argue with him. I think JR's even a little scared of him. Wuss.

Find a quiet place to sit and let your mind slow down it's cranking. It might take awhile, and some deep breathing.

That's usually when I can reach into the deepest part of me and figure out what's essential.
