my dad works at a steel mill and his hand got caught in a roller. then it proceeded to take all his skin off his hand a crush it. he had a 10 hour surgery which consisteded of making him a new thumb, reconstruction, and skin grafts. he was able to keep most of each finger.
he is now not in a lot of pain and is happy he gets to stayn off work for 6 months and still get paid.

yeah hes gonna be ok. hes gonna have a lot of therapy though.
and also any of you non god believers dont read this:
right before the surgery while he was still in his room some lady walked in and she wasnt in a uniform from the hospital. my dad thought that was odd. she walked in and asked if she wanted him to say a prayer. he said ok. so she went behind his bed and put her hands on his head said a nice prayer and literally just diappeared into thin air. my dad thinks it was an angel and he was really upset she never appeared again.

In Aberdeen we have an awful lot of oil men wandering about with missing digits................they are the roughnecks and roustabouts on the rigs...............it's a dangerous and filthy job..............but someone has to do it i guess..............plus it pays well...........
