Actually...

I can't STAND Howard Stern either and I really debated whether I should watch this interview or not. Well, I ended up watching Part 1 last night and it actually wasn't too bad. Jim seemed to do a VERY diplomatic job of not seeming crude or vulgar (like Howard) and actually managed to make the interview slightly entertaining. I'm anxious to see what happens tonight though.

Thank you for the welcome....I hate Howard Stern too. But since Jim is on I think I can make an exception

Yeah, I can't stand Howard Stern either. He has no respect for women whatsoever. I can't even believe Jim went on there. But I still watched it just to see Jim. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be so far. I hope the same goes for part two. There were some comments from Howard that bothered me though. All that guy has on the brain is sex. He needs to grow up! <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/mad.gif ALT=">:">

Melanie

After watching both segments, I have to admit that I'm very impressed with Jim. Even when Howard was cruely digging into his love life, Jim remained a complete gentleman. And damn, he was practically calm and -- dare I say it -- normal too.
*T.a.K.e K.a.R.e N.o.W -|- B.u.H ~ B.y.e T.H.e.N*

Loving Jim in Philly too...

Post by Pnkhorn »

Whoa, I'm going to Drexel U. in Philadelphia... this is def. getting creepy, haha. The email's bnp23@drexel.edu if ya wanna hit me up Jackie, I'm a film major, freshman. Where are you from originally? Annapolis, Maryland here. I only saw Jim on the second half of the interview and i enjoyed it for the most part. You could tell he was being considerate because he wouldn't talk about his past wives or girlfriends. Stupid Howard though, should learn to leave Jim alone. I was DEFINITELY happy he said something about Photoshop though, because I was working on an image right then, haha.

Wow, I live in South Jersey about 15 miles from Philly. Nice to know there's some other Carreyholics in the area.

Some of Howard's questions were pretty cringe-worthy, but I did learn one interesting tidbit -- that Jim was actually asked to host the Oscars and he turned them down. Its nice to know that the producers of the Oscar telecast respect his talents, even if the Academy is a little slow to.

I thought Jim was very classy with his responses and didn't drag anyone
"through the mud" so to speak. Way to go Jim!

re runs are shown at 11:30 PM later that night i think or sometime. just watch every episode of howard. Jim should be on there. as for me i don't even have cable so i missed everything on cable (i.e. revealed with Jules Asner, Howard Stern, TRL etc.) i haven't seen any of it. i'm a loser anyways so see ya! if anyone wants to show me any of these shows i will willingly accept. my AIM screenname is Noshoes182 and my yahoo screenname is scoobychica and my MSN screennname is NEUROTTICCA@HOTMAIL.COM. later! look me up to chat or something. i'd really like to see the eps but if i cant i guesssssssss that's all right too.
