It isn't a suprise... Finding Nemo takes the first place with $70.6000.000, which is normal for a pixar-disney animated movie to come out. It wasn't a big suprise Bruce Almighty earned that much... In fact I think it's pretty normal that after waiting so long after Liar Liar for the audiance to see Jim Carrey back in a movie like that, that they really really really wanted to check it out. Afterall, the commercials looked great en whole campagne was huge. It was hyped before it even came out... also the appearences by Jim... that were a lot! Anyway, Almighty ended up on number 2 with $35.600.000 and that also is huge for a second week. The total gross now is $135.700.00. But honestly my dears... I don't give a @#%$ about it, if Jim Carrey is great, he's great, if he isn't, he isn't. Actually he's always great. As a belgian critic I would like to add this : "Check out those other great movies to!!!!" I don't know how it works ovethere but hey, there are true masterpieces and the american public isn't checking it... half of the independent films don't even show op in a top 50.
