hey, don't feel bad about loving nature. i feel the same way about it. in fact i have a few pagan friends who i've spoken to in depth while seeking "my soul". to me, a tree is far more beautiful than a diamond and watching the waves crash against the rocks knowing that this is caused by the gravitational pull of the moon and the whole "butterfly stirring pollen, which causes the elephant to sneeze which causes, and so on and so on etc. WOW, nature certainly rocks!
in fact, that was one thing that made me start questioning "my religion". i didn't want to go to a heaven that had streets paved in gold! i want fields of daisies, trees, rivers, lakes, puppies, wind, rain - pure nature - however i don't want any snakes in my heaven, the kitties can eat the rats

i think God set all this nature in motion with one small collision of atoms (the chaos theory), gave us free-will and is sitting back watching (truman show-like), seeing where we'll take it and stepping in silently now and again individually to help us when we can't seem to go on (whether we know it or not). we can't control that nature thing which to me makes it so awe inspiring.
