Traditionally we're supposed to boil it up in water, put salt on it and maybe a wee bit of milk on it...............YUK!!!!!!.....

I sometimes have it instead of lunch or dinner...........it's very filling and extremely healthy as long as you don't have gluten issues.....
Most folks aren't actually gluten intolerant anyhow.......they usually have a specific wheat protein intolerance.......so often they can manage oatmeal.......
AND THAT WAS A MARKETING SKIT FOR THE SCOTTISH OATMEAL PRODUCERS.......
