Cheryl....the dog collar thing had me in stitches, because that's something I would do. I would just never tell.

My dog had to wear one of those cone collars once-because she had a cut that she licked and it would not heal.
Anyway, it is a pink cone-that did work-she healed.
The next day-I was wondering how she felt when she wore it-so I put it on. Everything was pink (looking out at a rose colored world,)
The next day, I told my friend, Russ, about the dog's cut and my wearing the cone. He said, "She won't remember the sore foot, but she'll remember you wearing the cone." Ha-ha

Hahahahahahaheeeee!!

My friend's dog had to have one of those, too. It ran into everything...those cones have to really throw off a dog's equilibrium.

I felt guilty because I caused it: I knicked one of her nails while trimming it. She bled like a faucet-I'll never trim her nails, again! The whole ordeal scared me.
Anyway, when she wore the cone-she couldn't quite reach her water bowl. She would bend forward and the entire top of the cone was on the ground. I held a water bowl up to her mouth.

Oh that's hard....one of those moments (from the mental picture I got) that you'd really like to giggle, but you know it's so WRONG, because...the poor dog can't get the water.
