well they said the books were the only ones that were able to beat harry potter out of the top seller spot but seeing Jim play shirley would be FANtastic!!! i do hope they do it

i really dont think there will be a sequel or something more official would have been announced by now.... so unless i see something like that on the production companies website i will choose to believe a sequel will not be made.

Like other people have said, if there was going to be a sequel, something would have been announced already. But I hope that a sequel is made. It would probably be even better then the first one and earn even more money because it is getting popular.

the 1st movie of everything is mostly the best, buy if Jim stars in it there's always a possiblity that it can be better than the first

On EmilyBrowning.com, I found an article from Teen Vogue magazine saying that they might start filming the second movie this summer. I don't know if this is exactly true, because they didn't offer too many details, but I hope it IS true.

I think there'll be a sequel... I mean, [the movie] just ended with the Baudelaire's going off in Mr. Poe's car driving to some other place, and remember, the book's are a series (Hint the title), so I think the possibility of another Lemony Snicket is a big difference.
