I worked more than 14 years in the music industry and met alot of rock stars and such. One thing I learned is that sometimes when you get to know a person you admire for their talent, you lose respect for them when you find out they are arrogant bastards. It's crushing when someone you respect throws tantrums like a child when the temperature of their drink isn't just so. It's better for me to stay away and admire them from a distance, that way I can keep the fantasy that they are somehow super human and not whiney babies. (Not to say that Jim fits into that category, but you'd be surprised what fame can do to a person's sensibilities.)
