CAM NEELY WANTS TO REPRISE HIS ROLE AS SEA BASS IN DUMB AND DUMBER TO

Time for some pop culture news. The sequel to Dumb and Dumber has the green light and the script is currently being developed. The sequel, Dumb and Dumber To, will once again feature everyone's favorite morons Lloyd (Jim Carrey) and Harry (Jeff Daniels) some 20 years after we were first introduced to them in 1994.

Why are we talking about this on a hockey blog? Because Cam Neely, retired NHL player and current president of the Boston Bruins, wants to reprise his role as Sea Bass in the upcoming sequel.

Work on ‘Dumb and Dumber To’ starts Monday in Atlanta

Red Granite Pictures has confirmed the release date for “Dumb and Dumber To” – and that preparatory work begins Monday in Atlanta, reports The Wall Street Journal.
The sequel to “Dumb and Dumber,” the 1994 comedy starring Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels, will arrive in theaters summer 2014. Work begins Monday in Atlanta, Joey McFarland the vice chairman of Red Granite told the WSJ.
Carrey and Daniels have both signed on to reprise their roles of Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunne, the paper said. Bobby and Peter Farrelly, who wrote and directed the first film, will co-direct and co-produce the sequel.
McFarland said there is a “significant female role, a new woman in the men’s lives,” detailed in the script. The role has yet to be cast, and McFarland said that’s part of the reason he’s headed to Atlanta, the WSJ reported.

The producers from the first movie are being greedy. Too bad they won't win.
