I just saw ILYPM today with my boyfriend and...we were the only ones there!! It was the premiere!!! Granted it was a matinee, but I hope it's going to do better.
The movie was. Utterly. Fantastic. It was lucky there was nobody else there because I laughed so hard! Excellent acting, also by E. McGregor. Story is unbelievable (but true!) and it was original & surprising from beginning to end.

Cotten, i'm with you there, managed to see it

did so twice now. I don't think it'll ever be released. how hard is it seriously. if you dont want the movie out, then dont bring it out. if you're gonna consider it, then at least bring it out and or cut the scenes. They've consdiered it several times, and dropped it several times. whats the dang hold up!

i guess they don't want to compromise the integrity of the film by cutting scenes. The movie is NOT full of gay sex scenes as some commentators would have you believe. There's one risky scene but it's tongue in cheek and relevant to a later, crucial scene.........
There's also a political point to be made here....why should the film be butchered just to placate the narrow minded ?.....
The reality is that gay relationships on film are still not well received yet by the industry,despite Brokeback's success.
It's a romantic, funny and endearing wee film about LOVE.........folk need to open their minds........
when it's out on DVD i promise folk....you WILL love it too!!!

Its not being delayed cause of the movie itself. Its being delayed Because Europacorp is looking for a new distributer. The release date will be OCT.

MTE..... And Jim said on his twitter a while ago that it'd be released in the fall. Or at least he as kind of campaigning for it.

I know, every internet forum I go people talk about the graphic sex scenes between Jim and Ewan like wtf, did you even watch the movie?? They didn't even show them making out (just their silhouets).
