Slapstick versus Serious, what do you prefer?

Post by robleane »

hey fellow Jim Fans!

im doing a film studies research project on Mr. Jim Carrey and the topic is his varrying roles..

i was just wondering what you, as his biggest internet fansite, had to say on the matter?

Which do you think Jim does best?

Ace Ventura or The Truman Show?
Liar Liar or Eternal Sunshine?
The Grinch or The Number 23?
Bruce Almighty or The Majestic?

Slapstick versus Serious..
what do you think?

I picked slapstick because he makes me laugh harder than anybody but i gotta say he's also a great serious actor too.

He should do whatever makes him really happy. I honestly believe if a project makes his heart sing then it's right for him, sod the critics.

His comedic side, no doubt about it. Yeah he's a good actor too, but not closely as good as he is at comedy IMO. That's what he was born to do.
