Hollywood actor Jim Carrey may be seen in a remake of "Attack Of The Killer Tomatoes".

Early reports are coming in, that the producer of the film Doug Sarine wants Jim for the lead role in the 2009 remake of the cult movie.

Previously played by a young George Clooney, Sarine hopes that Carrey will agree to star in the 30th anniversary remake of the original 1978 film. He also hopes to sign on actor Bruce Campbell.

"It's a bit early to talk casting, but we really want Jim Carrey to be in it and we have a role in mind for Bruce Campbell as well."

On the back of the success of "Horton Hears a Who!," news like this shows that Jim is back on form.

It's true! The remake will!
I 've a part in the film, I 'm one of the tomatoes ... then ... an important part! I arrive late, and the tomatoes are more difficult to destroy, Jim takes a machine's tomatoes and eventually became the sauce.
The scene ends with Jim preparing a nice plate of spaghetti!!

George Clooney was in the sequel, Return of the killer tomatoes, not the original.
