I'd add a lighting storm to that scenario... He could be holding a knife and telling me 'May I peel the flesh off your bones?' and I'd still go 'Eeeeck, Jimmy!!!' and I would jump on his neck.

Since I don't see my husband very often, once at night he came into
my room, I thought it was a spectre (ghost, stranger), I was half awake and I screamed at him..
"What do you want",
"Why are you here"!
"Get out" then I realized
it was my husband, he just stared at me like "What are you saying"
