I mean even if it is his son, the actor is bound to imitate him. Hate that!
I can just picture the trailer, they put that real epic music so that everyone thinks it's Ace and bam, the disc stop and no, it's some kid! Laugh riot!

hey everyone! long time no see but i have been very busy with my stupid studies! i hope you are all very good! (hola!!!)
all rrrrrrrrrrrrighty then! i really think "Ace Ventura 3" is a bad idea. like "mask" and "dump and dumpered" sequels, you CANT TAKE A Jim'S MOVIE (because the success was due BASICALLY to Jim) and make a sequel WITHOUT HIM. It doent just work. That;s my opinion. The flaws of dump and dumpered and son of mask proved it.
btw, the site www.movies.com has another opinion:
"Ace Ventura 3
No Jim Carrey? All Righty Then! Ace will hand over butt-talking duties to his son in the sequel. Another Dumb and Dumberer? Not a bad idea considering Carrey's last two big-budget projects have fallen apart before a frame was shot."
if you ask me, they are idiots! Jim is still hot and i cant wait to see "number 23"!!!

I was watching Ace 1 again last night and oh man, you CAN'T beat that!
But Ace 3 is so pointless and it'll have a zombish effect on people, a bit like 'Snakes On A Plane', it's so silly you're like 'MUST-SEE-IT'
I'm actually pretty curious to see it and prepare a bottle a wine to ease up the pain just like I did with Son Of The Mask!
I've always hated when people imitate Jim, it just nags me!

this why i like to stick to my original idea of all sequals/spin-off of Jim Carrey movies to be direct to DVD movies. that why there are fewer risks taken......and it would save a lot of people's 10 bucks for going to the movie theatre.

Aha, Nice to see you George. Hope your studies went well and your hand healed for good. Yes, it's so plain tasteless to make or see such sequels, it's hardly worth the effort, our time deserves much better than regurgitations of works that are original and creative. But Bruce Almighty sequel looks kindof funny and may be well worth a trip to the local cinema hall and not just for the popcorn but also to have a few laughs....lol
