15 minutes of conflict resolution, a would be moment...

Post by wonderbunny »

How do you stop and argument, conflict or disagreement for blowing out of proportion? I can't stand fighting. But I've finally learned how to speak of for myself and its very different now. My inner circle can't handle it and oooh... Life is very uncomfortable now. "Can't you just see how you are?" Well I used to be a doormat and that didn't work to well for me, so I don't think I be reverting to my old ways anytime soon. Meet the new Karen. Life isn't supposed to be this serious.

Hm....Karen...I have no idea. Except sometimes, when I'm around people I have had conflicts with...it's like I'm in a protective bubble.

Speaking your mind is better than being a doormat. Is is not possible to stay away from people who rub you the wrong way ?

How do you stop a conflict?

1. Humility (a good start)

2. Ask yourself if it's worth an argument in the first place.

3. Then ask yourself what the Universe is teaching you.

4. Then realize that we are all different individuals with different opinions, needs, wants and dreams and it is OK to let someone else feel what they are feeling as well as it is OK to feel what you are feeling. Everything is OK....as it always has been.

5. Enjoy the time you have with that person who is with you. Life is too short to have dibilitating arguments.
