Hey Quirk-
VA is gorgeous, as you know. I've been veeeeery busy out here but have made time to venture out and see things here. This past Friday was the first time (since I arrived in March) that I missed LA. Malibu, really. But I'm enjoying myself. Have been checkin' in here whenever I get the chance. How are you?

I'm glad you're not bored, but I wish you were able to see more of the country there. Although....even OUR history is modern. You could go to Colonial Williamsburg and think, "This is really old"....and then go to Europe and see a stave church built in 900bc.
When we would entertain guests from Europe...we pretty much skipped a lot of the colonial stuff and focused on the Smithsonians and free concerts in DC.
My brother works at the Bureau of Printing and Engraving (not for much longer, as he's moving here)...but that is a neat tour apparently.
