Maybe it's just that my mom keeps assuring me "he's out there for me."

And I really HATE bickering. As I said, exchange of ideas is great...but if friction becomes a constant....that's not a relationship I want to be in.

I had friends with a relationship like that...I just know MYSELF, first of all....and I don't want that kind of hassle.

But....I'm prepared for everyone to disagree with me....

You know there's healthy disagreement and there's unrelenting disagreement for the sake of it.
I'll admit my Mark and I probably disagree on more stuff than we agree on....it's weird.....but does that stand in the way of our relationship as a couple? Not really.
He's not perfect (that's not possible) but he's working for me.
For now anyway.

What if he was perfect?

What if, for one time in your life, you took part in a relationship that seemed perfect????

If he was perfect he'd be very different. :D
And you know what......for him to be perfect I would have to be different too. For me to accept perfection....I'd need to be nearer my own idea of perfection for me. If that makes sense?

I'm living in an acceptable state of affairs for the situation I'm in. I hope that doesn't sound dismissive, because that's not what I mean, but if we were all to idealise our lives.....I am sure we'd all be rather different?

because everyones perception of perfect differs.........perfect for me might have a degree of buzz, fire and friction that you might find too inflamatory.........and perfect for you might be unpalatable for me..........

but the truth is 'the one' is often the unexpected one.........i

That is so true. If my guy is as near to perfection for me as I've reached......well, when I first met him I thought he was an idiot!!! Lol.

You've answered your own question then. Friction or peace. Any equation can be 'perfect'. It's complex :? Any two people living together has to introduce complexities..... and complexity can be peaceful but not harmonious. And there has to be some kind of sacrifice if the two individuals have to make it the distance.

I'm sure there are more people than me. Life being a journey...I've had an interesting one and I'm still fairly young. I want to share with my partner....go see things and experience it TOGETHER. I sort of figure....I've been through hell already...I want things to be stable and I want the chance to totally and completely love someone. I don't think I've ever been "in love".

This one is for me and Joe Satriani, for those of you who know who he is. This is really cool that JCO has so much space here....thank you....

I couldn't help myself. I found out our birthday's are one day apart. I saw him perform in 1990 during the FLYING IN A BLUE DREAM tour...I was sitting in the very front...it was a small show in Santa Rosa...anyway LOL......

I liked it because it mentions magic, unconditional love, and other things.....of course it's pure fantasy as he is married....

151 Conjunction Sun - Sun

Positive aspect: It's an excellent aspect for a union because neither has to explain to the other about his or her life goals and overall personality. The two people complement each other in basic ways. Although every relationship has its struggles and conflicts, this aspect helps strengthen your relationship because there is an overall understanding and you support one another at the end of the day.

-144 Square Mars - Jupiter

Negative aspect: They have good intentions towards each other, but they often promise more than they can deliver. They make big plans that often fail to be realized. When one person wants to spend "together time", the other feels restless and dreams of being somewhere else. Freedom versus closeness is a conflict that arises often in this relationship.

128 Trine Moon - Venus

Positive aspect: They get on together very well, be it on the intellectual or the emotional level. They love to be together and appreciate each other's company.

-113 Square Moon - Saturn

Negative aspect: Planetary aspect that does not augur well for a life together, it will bring disappointment.

108 Conjunction Venus - Jupiter

Positive aspect: This union is likely to be completely successful. A couple that is happy to be alive, and to live together, with a pleasant family and home, total confidence in each other (and with reason), intellectual understanding, similar tastes. There is a strong desire to make each other happy. You enjoy each other's company immensely and you put each other in a happy mood. You make each other laugh and you feel very open, loose, and jovial around each other. Forgiveness and graciousness characterizes your partnership.

101 Conjunction Mars - Saturn

Positive aspect: A life together with few problems, love will develop into friendship, they will understand each other and go well together. It can be a little routine at times, and there is some self-consciousness with each other.

An indication that they will both be faithful.

81 Trine Sun - Saturn

Positive aspect: Here is a couple you can call stable. They will lead their life together quietly, with friendship slowly replacing love. Saturn will dominate the Sun - as is only natural - but the Sun might find this difficult to accept. In any case, as the Sun likes to feel secure, Saturn is a perfect partner.

79 Trine Mercury - Saturn

Positive aspect: If Mercury is looking for a mother or father in the spouse, then this aspect is very favorable. Saturn will give a lot on the intellectual level and in life in general.

70 Trine Mercury - Neptune

Positive aspect: Good spiritual understanding.

51 Trine Mars - Neptune

Positive aspect: A difficult union that can succeed, but could involve some distancing and dishonesty. Be very careful to be honest with each other, as deceptions have a way of coming to the light and great disappointments are possible as a result.

-50 Opposition Moon - Pluto

Negative aspect: Great physical attraction, uncontrolled passion, possessiveness, jealousy and suffocation. This relationship can become very negative because it is destructive rather than constructive. Problems can arise on the sexual level. It will be very difficult to get over this relationship, if it is possible to get over it.

49 Trine Moon - Neptune

Positive aspect: An almost magical bond will unite them. Perfect harmony. There is something MORE to this relationship. It inspires the imagination, and there is a magical feeling of acceptance. There is much devotion here, especially on the part of the Moon person. Spiritual tenderness and romantic warmth between them. Their relationship encourages imagination in both people. This stems from an underlying acceptance of each other, which translates into the feeling that they are free to express their spiritual, imaginative sides without fear in each other's presence. Unconditional love, which is very rare in romantic partnerships.
