End of Earth/Era (21.12.2012)

Hey I wanna discuss with you people on a serious matter over here...
Most of you know that earth's end may be going to happen as Mayans belief on December 21st 2012. Even Nostradamus predicted that the earth's end would be 2012. Nostradamus' most of the predictions matched and I am feared if this one also....
What will happen then? Will it be a Asteroid or will it be another Tsunami? or it will be another war? Or the Global Warming?
How the people will survive and what the people will do after survive? It might be worse than death.

I don't know what to think really; people say
A LOT of things!
Some scientists have said that it will take atleast a 100 years for the global warming to have some serious deadly outcomes!
But even if it is true there's nothing much we can do about it now, so why worry about something that won't happen until years to come and which might not even take place? Waste of time and energy if you ask me!
The only thing we can do is try to prevent it and hope our efforts will have been enough! It's scary though how many people doesn't seem to care
AT ALL about the pullotion they put out from unnesseccary doings like driving the car
very short distances, or letting the engine run for more than one minute (not only on cars, but with motorcycles etc.) etc. etc. REALLY scary!!
If it does take place though I'll do exactly what Jim said he would do -though on the other side of the world- sit on my garden chair so I can get a front row seat!

I think some people like to make these things up just to scare us like when Y2K was a huge threat. I'm just saying!

We are all going to die someday. We can't avoid it, it will happen.
If we knew when, would we do anything different?.
I think all we can do is live each day as best we can, work hard to prevent it (eg global warming) to ensure we do not contribute to the tragedy, stay active in doing good things, prepare as best we can.

The 12.12.12 thing is Mayan;
From anything I've seen on Nostradamus, he never actually came up with a doomsday date. Only descriptions of armies and wars etc...
