Jim Carrey, he says, is brilliant but a lot of work.
"He is wonderful and brave and ultimately the most anxious performer. It's like hanging with a 13 or 14 year old.
"He's got incredible instinct and he's very smart but he ... is a challenge for some people because you can't just leave him in a corner and go pay attention to other people, he's very demanding of your time."

that's totally a load of crap. Jim Carrey doesn't 'seek attention', you give it to him cuz u love him and he's interesting to watch.

Yeah, I'm not suprised, this isn't the first time someone's said it about him.

I think all celebrities are in need of a certain amount of attention. 'Cause if you don't get any; then how can you get recognition?
Therefor it's not really relevant if he is craving for it or not. What's truly relevant is what kind of message that you send out while being in the public eye. But apparently caring for other people these days are just a way of wanting to appear better yourself.

Oh my god -- it's so obvious that he loves to be the center of attention. Just watch him being interviewed with other people, and he can't stop himself from interrupting and grabbing a little bit of the limelight. He just can't help it, I guess.
I think he gets razzed about this quite often. Hopefully, he can learn to control it so that he understands the world doesn't evolve around his own interests and desires, but he even said in the Charlie Rose interview, his own desires get in the way of his happiness.
He'll learn over time. I wonder how he is with Jenny, who also loves to be the center of attention? Do you think they try to outdo each other, or balance each other out? Makes for an interesting night, that's for sure!
