I get such a kick out of Costco - everything is so big!

Everything there is economy size... Have you ever seen a bigger peanut butter jar? My parents used to go every Saturday (special outing
) They had samplers and they would spend an hour tasting, shopping and they always came home with wayyyyyyy too much food. How many deordarents are there? Supersized Mustards, Ketchup, frozen foods enough to feed the Battleship Enterprise crew. There's only three living at home in our family? It was a puzzle. Those Megastores are fun but it system overload; I feel sorry for the mom&pop store, there you get personalized service.

I haven't been there in ages. They have the best muffins and cakes. I like their samples too. They also have a lot of good books and other things. I got sneakers there for $15 and they were nice ones too.

What kills me about Costco is every person has one of the case packs of 48 rolls of toilet paper in their cart. It's as if everyone's biggest fear is that they might run out so they stock up...

Hmmmm... let's see, 2 rolls of toilet paper a week, 24 weeks, 4.5 weeks a month... boy... I would have toilet paper for more than 5 months in one stop at Costco...

my mom goes to Costco once a month and buys the same 5 things:
-fuji apples
-eggs
-bananas
-water
-and toilet paper
this is her only food source

where i live we don't have many costcos here, i think
we have 2 maybe more, i haven't been there in years, my
family wanted to check it out because they were giving
out free memberships for the first year when they first
came into are area. and thats been like maybe 3 or more years.
but we have a store that is like costco it is called sam's club.
they have things in supersize too, that is where we mostly shop at.
and there you also have to have a membership with them to shop
there. i always wonder why do you need a membership card to
go in and shop for?

Initially Costco- was Price Club, and it was a vendor (members only) type of outlet, they were great for any small business to obtain bulk items for less. Slowly, individuals began to join and so on. Its a lot like "You've got mail" I know dentists, daycares, and charities love it for larger than normal functions. But.... its is a members only thing. (Do I sound like that kid from Jerry McGuire- Do you know the weight of a human head?) I've got too much trivia in my head.
