i feel your pain Jim.......i am always in that kind of postion.......except when i am on and chatting on JCO.

Yes v all do feel lonely at some point of time. Of course, feeling lonliness is a state of mind. It all depends what is making us lonely....is it the desire for a life partner...or is it the desire to be away from this world forever....it could be anything. Jim is finding happiness in his daughter & definately he wont feel lonely anymore. This is a sign of maturity. I hope he is dating decently.....not just for sex but to spend some gud time for happiness.

That's so true though, no matter how crap life is, or how bad a day you've had....your kids are what make you smile again.

Mind you, Jim appears in British press, and it's 'The Sun'.

yah... we all go through stages of depression and stuff like that. but it really helps when you have someone that really cares about you. i'm glad that Jim has Jane.
but its also really sad. under all the beautiful laughter and happiness, loneliness is lurking at the bottom. i just hope that Jim finds a way to clear off all of that loneliness scum

That's what really gets me .....The fact that a man who brings so much joy and happiness to the world has felt so lonely........
it's just so wrong.......but i know that lonliness is as much a state of mind as a physical isolation.........

you can be in room full of people and feel lonely.........
or far worse, be lying in bed next to your 'partner' and feel that aching chasm........it's about knowing you are wanted and have a value as a human being.........and feeling really connected to people......but for that you have to be willing to take a chance and open yourself up and reveal the person......you have to trust......

Sorry I'm not following this Anna,
but I wanted to say that I cannot express how I felt to read what Jim Carrey said... he is so unlike the other stars we read about.. he seems so real, a real person.

You know, I don't know what it is.... but like anyone, I read the stuff printed, I dispise gossip, and when I read negative stuff; I wonder why did I read that? This is his personal life, and it involves his daughter. Truth or not, its none of our business!
