My friends and I were discussing this topic and it sounded silly, but everyone has a distinct laugh. Some are quiet, others boisterous. I happen to giggle alot. Apparently I'm a Hee Hee'er. I giggle when I'm nervous, amused, think silly thoughts, bored and when ever I meet someone (that's the nervous laugh) its automatic. I never noticed it, but its a pretty funny topic.

Boy. I've never even pondered this. I know when I was little I used to be a championship giggler....

Yeah, but do you ever snort? I, personally like the 'silent' laugh, when the body shakes uncontrollably, eyes water, and the belly hurts but not a sound is uttered! That's the good stuff. I call that the afterburn. Every ounce of negative emotions is released in one fell swoop! God designed it that way. Don't underestimate the healing power of laughter! That's why God invented Mr. Carrey!

Have you been watching Rubberface? Jim demonstrates all the different types of laughs and even the snort too.

Yes. Laughter is great medicine. I hope this Ashton Kutcher movie I have is funny.
Nowadays people tend to keep laughs inside. I regularly bust into giggles in the living room watching something even with no one around.
I'll never forget the part in "The Dead Pool"...which Dad and I saw in Europe. The part where the little remote control car is chasing the real car around San Francisco. The little car was going "wwhirrrr.....whirrr..."
I was laughing SO hard....and I was the only one. Dad kept saying, "Shhh...it's not funny....shhhh".
And I learned over the holidays that I am a person who is made more whole by making other people laugh.

My cousin and GF brought a gigantic jar of dill pickles back...I don't know why...but anyway...when Eve's french step-sister got here...I told her we had an American tradition. I had been cooking a nice roast, potatoes, etc.
I told her everyone eats, but the person who finds a dry lima bean in their potatoes had to eat the whole jar of pickles.
And bless em....everyone else agreed and played it well enough that she was in potential pickle shock for a few minutes.
