Are you a neat freak, or do you live with clutter?

In the workplace I'm neurotic about clutter, papers, files etc. But in my car and home I'm a little more laid back. Others find it rather amusing "How does she find anything?" Its a little like I Spy! Where is that other shoe?

when i'm feeling lazy, i just throw stuff anywhere. then a few days later i will look at it and go, "this is a disaster zone" and clean it up. that cycle just keeps going on and on.

I live in clutter. I have all the stuff in this room from a room that was twice the size. There's hardly room to swing a cat.
My Mum's a neat freak. She hates my room.

I'm not a neat freak but I hate clutter, my room will is never cluttered longer than a day or two before I clean it up and organize. I keep things well dusted, and everything has a place . . . just don't look in my closet. I am somewhat of a packrat. But I keep justifying it like. . .it might be wort money some day!

In my consulting business, its kind of like an acting gig; I dress up as 'case subject' : homeless person, mentally ill client, what ever my research demands and then roll with the punches. Its a bit like 'I wonder what its like to be....' Then the data is compulated and my results are presented to the client. Once I was a 'homeless person living in my car, my car was mussied up and I experimented with how I was treated' An eye opener. I grew up as a country club brat, the experience was mindblowing. I wouldn't have changed a moment of it. I met the most incredible people living on the streets. Their stories are heartbreaking. Walk the path of adversity, and the road less travelled, and your world will be a more exciting place.
