I have seen recently the movie Man on the moon and I not to could stop thinking that in Spain also we have a Tony Clifton. Torrente is called and is equal of unpleasant that the personage that interprets Jim.

I don't know the guy you mean, but I have to say I love the whole Tony Clifton persona.
I read in my local newspaper over the summer that there had been a complaint to a local council about an act at a summer festival in a nearby town. The show was called
The Tony Clifton Circus and it had been full of lewd, adult material and people had complained saying they'd taken their kids because it said "circus" in the title!!!!
I laughed when I read it and inwardly cursed myself as I'd wished I'd known about it beforehand as I bet it was a killer show!!!
I'd have gone. Without kids obviously!

He does sound intriguing.
So, who is he exactly?? Is he a Spanish film star? Film critic? TV guy?

Santiago Segura is a Spanish actor and one of his more famous personages of the ones that he interprets. ..... he is Torrent.
