Why I'm glad I'm NOT a Movie Star!!

I'm glad I'm not a Movie Star because.....
I don't have to worry about what to spend my money on
cause I don't have any, ha,ha,,
or worry that some investment place is going to have a scam on it,
or have to pay mega bucks in taxes,
or wonder if people like me because of my money or me,
or have to use credit cards and wonder which bill to pay first,
or hope that the person you put you're funds in charge of won't kill you.
or loose my credit card and people don't believe who I am.
Worry that people might think I'm cheap because I don't donate
to "so many causes, it's hard to choose which one would do the most good"
Anyone else glad they're not??

I'm glad i'm not a movie star because i can view potential friendships with the trust and honesty they deserve. Movie stars are wary of EVERYONE.....even close friends have been known to sell out on them........
I can do what i want with whom i want and no-one can stop me, or publically critisise me............nor dredge my mistakes up 20 years later..
And i can wear what the hell i want.........and if i have a bad hair day so what.!!.............i won't have 20 paps following me..........nor will i end up on a 'worse dressed' list........and i won't be held up to ridicule...
And i'm glad i'm not a movie star because of the shallowness, the banality, and the sheer idiocy of the whole Fame culture.....
lol............
however, i'd
love to be a writer for the industry and manipulate it from a ground level............because with only a few exceptions no-one knows the writers............so they can have all the advantages and none of the pitfalls..........lol......................
but in a nutshell it seems to be 'life in a gilded cage'............you have all the money god-send...........the adoration, the fame, the recognition..........but where is the genuine, authentic freedom?................are they kidding themselves that they are so happy?..........and if they are so blissfully happy, why do the stars have a much greater chance of being in therapy, on drugs, booze, divorced, etc etc.....................?
is it really worth it?

I'm glad i am not a movie star because I can keep my life simple and my feet grounded on the floor... do not have to live in a continuous "stage".

...reading: "Pussycat goes wild on the beach" ... "last night the beloved Scot school teacher Fluffy was seen strolling on the beach in good company under the moonlight. He murmured something to her...she gave him a deep look... took off her clothes and...
... she claimed to be under the influence of good wine...

You kow actually stars have access to the media and can make impressions on those who really need a lift in their selfasteem...most stars start out fom the bottom and just one day they are in the right place at the right time and are given a chance to live a life without having to struggle....but that is as far as they get cause then their life turns sour cause they have no life-I don't know about this but I can imagine.
I am glad I am not one-but the money is good and I have talent I just have not been in the right place I guess-

I could deal with the press/papparazzi's-oh well...my dream has been lost...and I am not trying to kill myself becauseof it-

Why I'm glad I'm not....

I don't have to wear make up everyday, I can be real,
say and go whereever I want, within reason.
I can wear clothes that clash, two different colors of socks(but Comediens can do that too)
I can do silly and stupid things and know it isn't being put of front page unless I put it there myself via the net.
I don't get jet lag, cause I haven't flown for ages.
I can spit wherever I want without worrying about Paparrazi even when I spit into the wind, and it comes back at me, ich what an awful feeling.
I can try new things without being riduculed or being politically correct.

Actually if i were a movie star, quite apart from the fact that you mix with interesting and artistic people and make your living doing something creative and lucrative, i'd be able to completely abuse my position to further my pet causes.........
i mention this on another thread.........but what an opportunity to further your cause................and Yeah, i'd be with Pammy and Alecia on the PETA campaign..........as well as kids charities....................
and wildlife/nature charities............ie...'save the Cougar' etc etc........

..............
so looking at it, like that, the lack of privacy and the hassle might be worth it after all........
lol............but i still think the writers/directors/producers have the better deal
