I know that all Jim Carrey movies are great, but what is the ultimate Jim Carrey movie of all time?

My personal favorite is Eternal Sunshine...what is yours?

the only Jim movie i have seen is COPPER MOUNTAIN< A CLUB MED EXPERIENCE, AKA CLUB MED AKA JUST PLAIN OLE COPPER MOUNTAIN

This is by far his best, i cant see any other movie, which i havent seen, coming close at all.

Do any other of his films feature Rompin Ronnie Hawkins???i think NOT. so they SUCK EGGS!

And what about that HUMUNGOID YOGI!!!!!!! what a WALRUS

It's all about Ace!!! The first one was a little weird, But When nature Calls was totally cool. The mask was cool too!!! and Dumb and Dumber Liar Liar is my Favorite tho. The 90's where his Golden Era!

I'll answer for Quirky. "The Majestic was by far his best movie."

It's difficult for me to decide really. I regard Liar Liar as a well-rounded comedy. But a Me Myself Irene amazes me in the way he acts his heart out. I should probably grow up and say ESOTSM because in that he 'acted his soul out'

Ok, so eyes closed and eenee-meenee-minee-mo.....

Although i do have a soft spot for Ace...........it's actually very clever.....i just about had a heart attack, friom laughing so much in Ace 2 ,at the Raccoon and slinky scenes.............and the meditation scene in the temple..............absolute genius.......

and in Ace one.........when he'd kissed a man....lol.....when he 'cleansed himself'...........very very funny stuff.........

fluffy :P

I definately prefer his comedies to his serious movies. He just doesn't seem to be himself in those movies. He doesn't look right if he's sad. I guess it's just not my cup 'o tea.

I see what you mean about the serious acting. But what I've come to admire is that he is being himself and not following the rules of serious acting.

*Adding* Man on the Moon is a PERFECT performance, whichever way one looks at it.

Oh, tough question. Probably ESOTSM. It's a beautiful film, well put together, all that stuff. Anyway, it's this wonderful display of Jim's talent, without the funny faces. Don't get me wrong, I love that Jim, but it was nice to see that quiet, reserved version. I also love Truman Show and Man on the Moon. However, one of my favorite original Jim movies, the ones that made him famous to begin with, is Dumb and Dumber. I saw it for the first time years ago. Since then, I've memorized it. It's one of those movies that you can see over and over again without getting annoyed. It's still funny. I keep expecting Harry and Lloyd to get on the bus with the girls. Every time.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind- the way in which it is set is something so wonderfully different! I love it!

actually his Ace Ventura 1 made him extremly famous. cause he was afraid he would do bad and after the movie the movie got a standing ovation and he said he was sitting there saying "somthing just happend"
