What do you do to feel better when you are bummed out, any
suggestions?

My solutions:
Go for a walk,
talk to someone,
eat ice cream, eat cashews
sing, listen to happy music,
swim, scuba, or boat
any other ideas?

i sleep a lot when i'm down........

but i try to ward stuff like that off by going to the gym.....but sometimes you've gotta let yourself crash down............

i kinda enjoy it........i'm not a manic depressive or anything like that so my lows are probably mild in comparison...but i find the melancholly comforting......it feels as though i'm levelling out........

So i don't really do anything differently except spend the occasional day in my pyjamas watching movies or sleeping..............

I nap too. Naps are great. A time for the mind to rest and recharge.

Sometimes, I go for a walk or for a drive... observe the landscape and listen to good 80s music. When I feel like talking a call my mom, she is a good listener and a very positive person… then I read psalm 23 …

Other times, I rent a couple of uplifting movies and stay home in my pjs ...

I come to this site to read funny posts. The endorfins from laughter are very therapeutic.

When I'm stressed I take a long walk along the beach. The sound of the ocean has healing properties for me.

Yeah, thanks for the photoshopping on Cotton's picture poll. I needed that laugh badly.

Sadly, when I'm down I also smoke more. Aaaaaaugh. And do you know how much those quitting kits cost? Oy.

When I am down I think about it more- :( It's the only way for me to not let it affect me-the more I think about it the less it hurts cause the first time it hurts more then the second time.

Try catching walking pneumonia, worked for me! and so much cheaper and effective than those kits or gum!

I've not been myself for the past few days, lots of tears and sniffles. I took a quick road trip to town not too far away Whenever I'm there its like I 've walked into paradise. And when I return, I'm generally in better spirits. But not this time. I'll take a warm bubble bath, read Psalm 51 (my favorite) and pray. This too shall pass. I haven't laughed in a while. I'm at a cornerstone and unsure where God is taking me and I'm tired. Boy... do I need a hug right now! Sometimes the human touch is all that's needed.

*hugs wonderbunny* Hug. :)

hmm.. Resting is good. Go in your room and open the window to let the breeze come in, take a nap or read a book or whatever. Or eat ice cream. *yawn* lets all take a nap.
