Ok........rather than 'what are you listening just now'.....this is for music that you recommend people to 'check out'..........and rather than our old and trusted favourites which might appear in the above thread, this is for up to date stuff............to introduce folks to whats 'happening' in other necks of the world.........

For example today i'm gonna recommend "Faithless"......the greatest hits album.........
It defines the British dance music phenomena.....(tracks such as Insomnia demand serious music systems and LOUD volume)........
That's one thing about being British we have our fingers seriously on the pulse..........we started the whole Dance/rave craze............
You've gotta move to this album.............it makes you 15 all over again..............
go investigate............

Fluffy :P

what's new with you????

My most recent CD purchases were U2 The Joshua Tree , The Unforgettable Fire and All That You Can't Beave Behind. Bought them all in one go.

Even my most banal music speaks to me these days.

I love Jesse Dayton!!

He's 6'4" of sexy man with a voice that knocks me dead... Image

He's an up-and-coming singer/songwriter in the "Y'alternative" country vein.

His guitar playing is amazing, he played for Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings and many others. He also has a rockabilly band called the Road Kings who kick major butt, too.

You can listen to him here:

I recommend anyone to listen to Alter Bridge (not Creed, which everyone likes to get the 2 mixed up). Other than that I recommend people to listen to the Killers or Rob Thomas' cd.

All three are good! 8)

I reccomend: BB Jay, Grits, T-Bone, Cross Movement, KJ-52, All these are grat alternatives to Eminem, Ludacris, Jay-Z, Biggie Smalls, Tupac, Twista and more. If you want uplifting stuff, Check out the contemporary christian music section, It's not all old hyms praise God in all his glory stuff, Which BTW there in NOTHING wrong with, it also sends a positive message, no death and destruction, it's great for your phyche, and soul.
Try also P.O.D. Great Metal Rap Band that sends positive messages!

Thank you,

I find that when I'm having a particularly bad day, That kind of music always brightens it up. And it works whether you believe in God or not.
