i know thiws may be a boring topic, but im just curious, what is everyones dream career? what do you wish you were or could be doing?

I wish i could be an actress. for more then being famous and meeting Jimlol, its for special reasons  Either that or a director. mostly id love to be an actress though. 8-[

...actually it varies according to the different phases of my life... teacher, painter, investment banker, environmentalist... to name a few.

... but I have a motto for any career and for life: whatever we do with passion, the results will be extraordinary, and the rewards will follow.

I genuinely feel that I have to pack as much into my life as possible. I've done umpteen jobs and I really feel I want to have loads of different experiences and careers before my time is up. I'm a teacher at the moment and there are loads of experiences there, but the best time was working with the Oncology kids at the childrens' hospital. I feel privileged to have worked with them all.

I have absolutely NO interest in money - as long as I can feed the cats I'm happy, so if I get a low-paid, but exciting job opportunity I'll go for it and I can generally talk my way into opportunities. I'm such a charmer...

But I confess, like a lot of people here I harbour unrequited desires to see my prose in print, or on the screen. I, however, seem to write mainly in analogy and metaphor which can be confusing for folk. I write as I think, whether an e-mail or an essay or a poem and if you can't "tune in" to the wavelength then it's like gobbledygook.

I'll need to work on that.

I am good at non-fiction. My old uni professor said I should be either a journalist or a social worker.

I've yet to add them to my growing list but I'm open to offers. lol.

I gave your ellipses a nip and tuck. You brazen thread-stretcher.
