I think MAN ON THE MOON.....not because Jim's acting but because the story is kind of boring and

it was relly confusing to follow

yea i agree man on the moon was his worst with cable guy following closely in second place. all due to stories not ACTING. i thught Jim was quite cool in cable guy.

THe Cable Guy? Man on the Moon? How could you????
I think his woorst film is probably The Majestic, Jim was good it's just the film that had some problems.
I also thought Me, Myself and Irene wasn't that great, for the same reasons.

I'd have to say... Man on the Moon, but that's just because I've only seen it once and I probably don't know how to appreciate it that much yet.
The Majestic is sort of long and a bit boring, but I still like it. What are the problems with this movie though?

The problem I had with "The Majestic" was how they took a historical event and changed the outcome. I was with the film the whole way through until they started that whole Hollywood violins and the Constitutional Ammendment speech in which he turns and walks out of the room mid-interview. That never happened during the McCarthy hearings and the whole story was based around the McCarthy's HUAC trials and the black listing of Hollywood writers and actors. I think they just took too much artistic license on this to make it believable. I still liked the movie though.
"Man on the Moon" and "Cable Guy" are highly under-rated and are absolute genius!

ohhhhhhh i see. i never really understood the whole black listing thing, so i got quite confused with the whole movie... i read some background information, but it didn't quite sink in..... doesn't matter... i'll look it up later, thanks for explaining

Why do so many of you dislike Man On the Moon? Yes, it was different. It wasn't like any of his other movies, but that's part of what made it great. Also, the movie wasn't about Jim Carrey, it was about Andy Kaufman. I know I didn't spell his name right...
So my vote goes to The Majestic. The movie had good ideas and performances and it wanted to be a better movie, but it just didn't work. Little things in the plot structure and little character ticks just threw the whole movie off.

I agree Nicole Fiction
I really liked The Man on the Moon, I thought it was a good film, funny, moving and original with great music and Jim Carrey impressive as Kaufman, one of his best performances.
thank you very match.

as for me, i cannot say that i remember one JC-movie i ever disliked.-
but if i gotta have to pic one out, i would say that the only one that he
needn`t have done is ACE-2.-
because every movie Jim made, was a total new expression.-
exapt that one.-
