you'd need tons of money to do it and you'd need to know the exact materials he used, I would contact Universal Studios and ask them if they have a number for Rick Baker and ask him what he suggests.

Call a costume rental store. I know that the one in my town rents a Grinch costume so I know they exist.

Hmm getting it EXACTLY like the origional costume would be soooo expensive and tough to get, with the Yak hair and all that. And the hella expensive contact lenses, the latex, etc etc. Plus that whole bunch of makeup artists that know how to apply it right.

My thing is get something that looks simular or sufficient.

I HEAR THAT.....

I hear that vaseline on the face makes you look green in the dark, I don't know if that is true or not. They made the wicked witch look really green on the Wizard of Oz, I wonder how they did that.
The hairy body, you could go to a second hand shop and pick up an old
hairy coat, only problem is, you may get really sweaty in the costume as you dance around. OR.....
You could be a new character and be Mrs. Grinch and just wear a
hairy bikini????
or one piece whichever you prefer.
Create the look of a new Character, use your imagination.
Really big hair, blonde or brunette or GREEN
Wasn't there some girl he liked in the movie?? What about being her???

I think it's a boy who asked about the costume. It's signed Conner at the end of the message

You're probably right CABLEGAL
Sorry Connor, I need my eyes examined. 8)
Maybe I'm going blind.
There's new funfur out that you can use for a hairy body.
Have a friend work on the makeup.
Sometimes a theatre arts class can help to create the character.
Ask at your school or a high school student you know.

i'm going as Simon Cowell this year. But i know a great place near where i live which has lovely materials of all sorts that's where i got the material for my grinch gloves from. Or you could buy some werewolf hands and dye them green.

we don't really bother with Halloween much in the UK............Whats the big deal??................

we're far more into Xmas and Hogmany...............i'm surprised Halloween is so big in the USA because of the occult link..........and America is quite a religious country compared to this bunch of heathens in the UK............lol...............
