Aw, I'm sure he's doing fine.
I must admit, I do 'miss' him when he's not working and now he appears to have (thankfully, IMO, considering the hateful people on there) given up Twitter.
He's really never been a man who's kept himself in the spotlight outside of his work. Whenever he's not on a promotional trail, he's private and low key. And now his work patterns are different and less intense, that's bound to equal quiet time from him.
I like that he's not a part of the Hollywood gossip wheel, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss his lovely face.

lol.........me too.....but he's had a helluva busy and stressful 12 months so my guess is he's stepping back a little.

Yep. I think so too. He's had a long time very much in the public eye, despite the fact he's never courted the press; he deserves his privacy back. As long as he's happy then it's all good for me.

So, you're also saying, when his two new movies gets distributors, he'll probably get back to the promotion trail. I sure hope so, because I really miss him when he's not in the
Spotlight. All I know, that he'll be at Sir Elton Johns Oscar watch party this year.

Hey there,

No, if he'd closed/deactivated his Twitter account, then his entire profile would disappear. You can still read and see all his tweets (certainly that was the case the last time I looked), so he's left it open but he's just not using it anymore. I'm just guessing, so I obviously don't know for sure, but I'd be very surprised if he chose to tweet again. I think he's done with it now.
But as I said before, I think that's a mixed blessing. Sure, I miss him, but there's too many weirdos and cruel/vicious people on there. I feel happier knowing that he's not subject to that anymore. He could still of course be reading his Twitter, but I doubt that.


Re: promo, yeah I guess we'll see more of him then and he'll give interviews, which'll be lovely. Do you know when they're being released?
Ooh, EJ's Oscars do! Has that been confirmed? Would be very nice to see him again if so. Better still, get him presenting an award and roasting the whole audience in two mins flat, a'la The Globes. He's a genius. <3

I think he brings the latent 'Cable Guy' out of us all; I've seen tons of people saying how much they miss him. It's his own fault for being so darn amazing - A huge ray of sunshine is what he is.

P.S. I hope there will be pictures of Jim going to Sir Elton John's Oscar watch party this year. They won't show it on TV, I know that. But I hope there'll be pictures.

I wouldn't count on him being at the Oscars parties......he might be but he can be a bit fickle, He's actually not that into the Hollyweird scene....

Very true. And that's why I love him.

We'll only know if he will be at the party when the picture of it surface but to be honest, I don't think so.
This year he's not a presenter I think so he will probably skip them.

I read that even if Jim Carrey wasn't a presenter, he still went to Sir Elton John's AIDS Foundation Oscar watch party. He may be there tomorrow. If he's not (I'm just guessing) he's probably spending the weekend with Jane and Jackson. Jackson (his grandson) turned 6 years old on Friday, February 26, 2016. That's my guess.

Yep, Jackson is 6 now. I remember when
seeing a picture of him when he was 4 arriving to the White House for the annual Easter Egg Roll. I also saw the pictures on the beach with Jim and Jane. I think he was about 4 or 6 months old then.
