Last night I watched "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown."
Brought back a lot of memories. In our little town there was one family who always rigged up their front porch with something scary. The year I remember was a casket that opened and someone said, "I'm gonna get you!" and I nearly peed my pants.
My brothers used to take me Trick or Treating and they were in HS classes with the guy in the spooky house...
So I'd stand in the road saying, "Nope....I'm not going there."
And they'd say...."Awww come on! There's nothing scary."
"Uh-huh."
"He told me he's not doing anything this year."\
"Then why are you so anxious to get me to go there....I'm skipping that house!"
After we were done, I'd dump all my candy on the living room floor and my brothers would try to steal all the good stuff.

lol..............you should be greatful....lol
we used to push a wheelbarrow around the streets with a kid dressed up as a 'guy'...........and we'd have to humiliate ourselves by singing and dancing for a couple of pence.........cause it was 'a penny for the Guy'...........it was supposed to raise cash for fireworks but at the end of the evening we'd be lucky if we could stretch to a mars bar with the proceeds.........lol........
and it wasn't THAT long ago either.............lol............

My aunt's a music teacher.
When you trick or treated at her house she made you do a skit or sing a song.

Yummy.
It always used to tick me off to get 1 tootsie roll. And that little orange marshmellow peanut. Whats up with that!
What the worst trick-or treat candy you ever got?

I don't remember, but I'm sure my brothers probably TP'd them later.

Here in P.R. there are a lot of idiots that take this day to torment, rob, steal and make others miserable. I don't really remeber my worst candy, but I remeber one day I dressed up as Janet Jackson-
Anyway this day I am off and I will take my daughter out for a bit, then come home and ask her if I can have some candies-

Sorry Jimenem, mothers eat candies too-

Good luck! I have to get better candy than my cousin left here....I can't take the disappointment in the little eyes when you give them something healthy or small.
