yeah that's true except we call it porridge here and it's meant to be the national breafast........except we are all too addicted to honey nut loops or crunchy nut cornflakes to abide by the 'pride of Scotland' anymore.......however, in my bid to be as healthy as possible i've recently started eating it again...........but it's got to be cooked in milk ....cows or sweetened Soya milk..........and you can drizzle on a little golden syrup , or a sprinkle of brown sugar to make it yummy.......
Traditionally we're supposed to boil it up in water, put salt on it and maybe a wee bit of milk on it...............YUK!!!!!!..... :? it's nasty salty...

I sometimes have it instead of lunch or dinner...........it's very filling and extremely healthy as long as you don't have gluten issues.....
Most folks aren't actually gluten intolerant anyhow.......they usually have a specific wheat protein intolerance.......so often they can manage oatmeal.......

AND THAT WAS A MARKETING SKIT FOR THE SCOTTISH OATMEAL PRODUCERS....... :wink:

Yes I do. Sometimes I can stay awake for days at a time. But, thank goodness I haven't had any boughts with it recently. Thanks Fluffy for the Porridge advertisement. :wink: I hope the Porridge company pays you well. Oh, and I do go a little loopy in light of the full moon. Ebb and flow.

One day my son picked up a great big toad, very wartty, I told him not
to play with it and that he could get warts from it. He challanged me and
kept the darn thing for a pet.
Soon after he did get warts, lots of them on his hands.
He had to have them burnt off with Nitrogen. Oddly enough he quietly
let the toad go.

Sorry, oblie
