No, one can not live in fear for ones live will not be worth living if it were so.

Example: People with serious deseases like cancer, diabetes, aids ect. do you really think they live in fear? No, instead they choose to live because fear will stop them from enjoying what is left of their life. She is inflicting fear on her child thus the child will always live in fear and that is not cool.

Accidents happen anywhere, that is not being cautious that is living in fear. If my kids had something like that happen I wouldn't let that stop them from living life by keeping them away from others. I think there is more than the eye can see here with her.

Just cause he is being home school doesn't mean he does not get to be around aother kids. How she rasies her kid is HER business not ours.
