Crazy...I've been a fan for 13 years already and my adoration for the man just keeps getting stronger. He's amazing...wish I knew him for real.

Ive been hopelessly head-over-heels
in love with James Eugene Carrey for
3054 dys (8 yrs 4 mos 11 dys) since
i saw the Truman Show on June 14,
1998...ive been just a fan when Ace
came out in Feb '94, and I had seen
Jim in Peggy Sue when it came out
in the late '80s, I may also have
watched the Duck Factory when it
was on tv, but I really dont remember.
I didnt know anything about Jimmy
until after I fell madly in love w/him!
before that happened, all I knew was
that I was greatly attracted to his looks!

It's kinda funny cuz I've been watching Jim half of my whole life...
cuz I have memories when I was like three years old, but my mom said that she watched "ILC" with my dad when I was a baby.
Who knows? Maybe I've been watching Jim for my entire life.

I agree with you there Mia! My mom used to watch it every friday cause it was the only thing on when she came home from work! I've been watching Jim my whole life too, I guess! I remember seeing David Letterman when I was like two, I sort of remember seein' Jim around that time too, but not as much as Letterman, Mom watched him every night so that may be the reason!

So grew my love of comedy!

True that! Yeah, I just got back from Sears and made everyone laugh that was around me! I've got people that joined Student Council just because I'm there being me! It's fun being us!

Absolutely!!

Making someone laugh will always be a natural high I think!
I've liked Jim since 1995 (seen all his movies since, I haven't seen all of the early ones yet though), but it wasn't until "Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind" that I took a more personal interest in him and read interviews he has made and such... It's really SO interesting the things we have in common!

He almost feels like my American big brother because of those!

I was little when I first saw "Once Bitten", but I really liked that pale guy

. I guess it was in 1991-1992, don't remember. The next Jim movie I watched was "The Mask" in the year of its release, and then I realized that it was looove!
And the movie that I most like to laugh at is "Dumb and Dumber".

Since The Grinch Who Stole Christmas" was out.
I saw the ad in the movie theater and became very defensive: They had better do a good job of a remake of the old Grinch cartoon (with Boris Karloff as the voice of the Grinch).
I sat with my arms crossed in the theater and thought: Make me laugh.
Well, the movie started, and you know the first scene with the Grinch: "I really don't like them...no I don't. Max...Fetch me my cloak!"
Then the scene moves to in front of the Grinch lare: "So, they want to spend a little quality time with the Grinch." and he turns around and smiles-that's when I got a cold chill-like I had never gotten in years. A real cold chill-a human being's cold chill. I was 91 lbs.-and at 5"8" that's pretty thin, but I also have a progressive, genetic, neurological disorder-Cerebellar Ataxia.
Soon after that, I started to gain weight-13 lbs. and I hope for more. (By the way-the movie made me laugh, hysterically, and I have seen it many times since.
