My mom gave me a home perm promising "soft waves". I ended up looking quite a lot like a poodle.

My mom wouldn't go that far... but geez I know what you mean about aiming at soft waves and ending up looking like a poodle... lol...I once wore ponytail for six months straight...

I'd put those combs on either side, so it didn't stick out. Wanted to curb the Einstein look a little.
