Tuna!!!.........if i'm feeling peckish i'll open a can of tuna in Brine.........sounds lousy but it's tasty and stops me having the munchies.............lol

fluffy
This is a guilt free posting of comfort foods - not a what to eat instead avoiding the heavenly experience of munching on yumminess posting- so lets dive into some more mashed taties with loads of butter & gravy - heck lets go wild and make them whipped with an egg and some cream in them too!!!

The only way I find a PB&J sandwich better is to separate them....I like both but not together....I had a friend who loved them with chicken noodle soup....grosssss!!!

You tell her, Laura!!

Watch out fluffly....the Americans are getting mouthy!!!

I had a Monte Cristo at Bennigan's today. That thing is SO good..but I'll bet it has 23,000 calories. And I can always only eat one half...and they give you four halves!!

Who's the mouthy American? Just cause Jim changed his citizenship doesn't mean mine changes from Canadian- I mean it's not like we were married or anything.....mouthy YES, American No.....pass the gravy please...lol

So let me get this straight, you get one sandwich consisting of 4 halves....and you can only eat one half....which leaves you with 2 halves, or a whole sandwich.......that would half the calories per serving... :D !!

Crumbs, and I was gonna jump in and say tuna with springwater tastes far better, but I think I'll keep that to myself now.... :o ....oops!

But not every comfort food has to be calorie overloaded. Honest! :D

Mind you, a chocolate covered Hob-Nob dipped into coffee is certainly a bit moreish.

You are TOO American Laura...!!!!
Canada's in North America. I used to get #$@% all the time from my Canadian friends for referring to people who reside in the U.S. as "Americans".

I have three halves of the Monte Cristo left.

Alright but specifically North American....actually I always said I was born on the wrong continent....I need sun and heat and very little clothing...I need to bask in the warmth of Jim's embrace....oopppsss sorry wrong dream....

Is 3 halves like one more than 2 halves.... and another half????

I just gave mom some and she ate only the vanilla part.

She left all the good stuff.

I take after my dad in the realm of Haagen Dasz I guess.

In our family any good bits left over were up for grabs....no use in wasting good food you know...I love it when they save the best part for last!

I was really close to my Grandfather on my dad's side - one of my favorite things to do was to dish him up a heaping bowl of butter pecan or maple walnut - I don't think anyone can smile any more than he did diving into it!!
