I'm currently unemployed. There is a question as to whether or not I will be able to work again. It's kind of depressing.

y'know i think you'd be an awesome cook/caterer...........you could be your own boss and do special occassion catering......or cakes..... :wink:

Yeah, my cousin is starting his own business and he keeps talking to me about doing a catering business.

But I have times when I feel totally useless and with my luck those would fall at times when I'm supposed to be cooking something.

Yea but maybe you won't feel that way cause your mind will be on your work. I don't think it would hurt to give it a try. Sometimes the more you keep your mind occupied on your job the less depressed you get.
