shucks...........what can i say??...........except i have a degree in Philosophy and ART HISTORY!!!!!!! ..............

let me bore you with a tit-bit.....lol.............

Bacon was influenced by Munch's 'The Scream'..........50 years earlier Munch had taken a major risk by trying to interpret something artists felt was unobtainable.............It worked..........and Bacon was influenced by the daring element.........so he took it even further and used 'popes' as his subjects...........whilst sticking with the scream................
