I'm much better, thanks for asking...life is full of ups and downs, but it's our job to make sure the ups are much bigger and last much longer, it's all a big riddle so try to make the very BEST of it is what I have to say today.

I was wallowing in the misery of having 2 of my very best friends - I've know one 18 years and the other 20....go on a holiday over the March Break and never hearing from either of them even though my son was invited to go along too....ouch....and then Riley the Lung Fish decided that the first two digits on my right hand looked rather appetizing...so he literally lept out of the water and muckled on - let me tell ya folks, a 25 year old lung fish has some mighty powerful jaws....broke the skin in two places...another couple of seconds and I think I'd be nursing a broken finger....ouch again....and now I feel much better for reading your post Michele...lol...guess I'd better go feed Riley now.....thanks...

What do you do to a rowdy lungfish? Spank it?

Oh no no......no....spank the lungfish sounds like a euphemism.

If you're going to step off the sidewalk, be careful you don't trip over my mind in the gutter there.

shortly after donating my finger to Riley for a snack, I jammed the scraper into my hand ...nice sharp edge...clean cut...then I smashed the pottery bowl on the floor with the corner of my coat...there ya go...3 in a row....now that's a hat trick...made it through that one....glad the new day is here.... :)
